Perparing You Vehicle
Things that you should do prior to our arrival
Keys - One set of all keys for the vehicle to the driver, including the ignition, trunk, and glove box keys.
Personal items - DT Transport will not be responsible for any items in the car.
Antennas should be lowered or removed. Temporary antennas for cell phones or CB radios should also be removed.
Alarms should be turned off for transport. If there are special instructions required to start a car in order to disarm the alarm, please inform your driver picking up your car.
Make sure your vehicle is prepared for any climate. Make sure coolants, transmission oil, antifreeze and other fluids are at proper levels.
A full inspection will be performed prior to shipment
You or a designate must be present for the inspection and will be required to sign the bill of lading and a vehicle condition report.
The bill of lading will be received both at the point of origin and at the vehicles destination.
It is in your best interest that you are at this inspection yourself.
Any discrepancies on the condition report upon delivery must be marked on the condition report and signed
Pickup and Dropoff
Make sure that both locations accessible for easy of loading and unloading. If they are not, arrangements should be made prior as to a suitable location.
Yes. Cargo insurance is required by law and the the certificates are available upon request.
Your vehicle will be driven ONLY by the transport drive to get it in and out of the trailer.
A 25% down payment is due when the pick-up date is confirmed.
Visa, Master Card, cash, money orders, or a certified check are excepted.
Final payment at time of delivery with the same payment methods.
You or a reesponsible party must be present for the inspection and go over all paperwork.
No personal items are allowed but parts may be included if the auto is being transported for restoration.
Yes it can. The vehicle will be wenched in and out of the trailer by remote control and soft straps will be used for safe loading.
This is a single car enclosed hauler and your vehicle will remain inside for the entire route.
